1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PupPair, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use PupPair. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under it. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use PupPair for any unlawful purpose
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Post false, misleading, or inappropriate content
• Attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the service
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions
• Use the platform for commercial breeding without proper declarations

5. Content and Moderation

All content you post is subject to automated and human review. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms or our community guidelines. Severe violations (abuse, child safety) result in immediate account suspension.

PupPair has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. We remove such content and eject users who post it. Objectionable content includes sexual content, animal cruelty or neglect, harassment, threats, hate speech, content that endangers a child, and content that promotes illegal activity. Every user-generated surface in PupPair — profiles, pet profiles, gallery photos, chat conversations, marketplace listings, reviews, meetups, groups and vet profiles — carries a Report control, and reporting a chat conversation reports the person you are talking to along with that conversation. Reports are triaged within the published moderation service levels (P0 within 1 hour, P1 within 4 hours, P2 within 24 hours, P3 within 48 hours), and confirmed violations are removed and the account suspended or permanently banned. You can also block any other user at any time; blocking is free, immediate and mutual.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

PupPair offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refunds are handled according to the policies of the respective app store or payment provider.

7. Safety Features

Block, report, incognito mode, and distance hiding are available to all users regardless of subscription tier. These safety features will never be paywalled.

8. Disclaimer

PupPair is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy of user profiles or the outcome of any meetups arranged through the platform.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PupPair shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of PupPair after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
